This policy explains what information Haryana School of Digital Marketing (HSDM) collects on applyathsdm.in, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have kept it in plain language instead of legal wording.
What we collect
When you fill the demo class form on this website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your mobile number
- Where you live (the town or village you select)
- What you do right now (student, working, business, other) — this field is optional
We do not ask for your email address, date of birth, ID documents, or any payment information on this website. We never ask for an OTP, a bank detail, or a UPI PIN. If anyone contacts you asking for these in HSDM's name, it is not us.
Why we collect it
We use your details for one purpose: to talk to you about the digital marketing course. That includes sending you the fees, batch timing and syllabus, arranging your free demo class, and following up if you asked us to.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not add you to any bulk promotional list without your consent.
How your details reach us
When you submit the form, your details are saved in a private Google Sheet that only the HSDM team can access, and the form also opens WhatsApp with a pre-written message so you can start the conversation with us.
If you then message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is stored in WhatsApp under Meta's own privacy terms.
Cookies and tracking
Like most websites that run ads, this site uses tracking tools. They help us understand which ads bring people to the site so we do not waste money on ads that do not work.
- Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics — page views, which ad you came from, and whether you submitted the form
- Meta Pixel — the same, for Facebook and Instagram ads
These tools may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time; the website will still work.
When you submit the form, your mobile number may be sent to Google and Meta in an encrypted (hashed) form. This is used only to match your enquiry to the ad you clicked. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not readable by anyone as a plain number.
Who else can see your information
Your details are visible to the HSDM team members who handle admissions. Beyond that, the only third parties involved are the service providers that run this website and our tools:
- Google (Sheets, Tag Manager, Ads, Analytics)
- Meta (WhatsApp, Meta Pixel)
- Our web hosting provider
Each of these has its own privacy policy. We share nothing with anyone else, and we do not share your information with other institutes, agencies or list sellers.
How long we keep it
If you join a course, we keep your details as part of our student records. If you do not join, we keep your enquiry for up to two years in case you come back to us, and then remove it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your details from our records
- Stop contacting you
Just message or call us on the numbers below. We will act on it within seven working days. There is no charge for any of this.
Children
School and college students do enquire about our courses, and that is welcome. If you are under 18, please fill the form with a parent or guardian, since the course fee and admission decision involve them. If a parent asks us to remove a minor's details, we remove them immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we collect or use information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
